Dubai can be so overwhelming, like any city, just because there is so much choice in terms of everything- Fashion, food… everything! I thought I’d share of few of my faves as a guide of where to start!
The best thing about Dubai is that there is something for everyone quite literally every restaurant known to man is located in Dubai Mall so it’s an amazing place to start.
- Cheesecake Factory- Located in Dubai Mall
Yes, american company I know but it’s only when I come on holiday I can enjoy how amazing this place is. The food is lushhhh (although massive so would recommend getting the smaller portion when available) and the cheesecake is on another level! Everything we’ve tried is amazing so far and our faves are the Caesar salad and the strawberry daquiris. We make sure to visit at least once when we visit Dubai.
2. At.mosphere @ The Burj Khalifa
This one is definitely a splurge if you’re gonna go for the top package but is complete value for money and perfect for a special occasion or a treat whilst you enjoy your trip.
My nanna surprised me with a trip here for my 17th birthday last year and the package sold was ‘afternoon tea’, but it turned out to be 4 course meal with a bottle of bubbly and free drinks which made the price seem like nothing for the service and considering you’re on the 123rd floor of the world tallest building! You are collected from the Armani Hotel at the Burj and are looked after from here and escorted to your seats. Such an amazing way to see the city and you have a private viewing platform too which makes the trip more special!
3. Sukhothai- Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre
This one is a new found fave located in our favourite hotel so it’s perfect if you’re staying in the Deira area!
If you’re in to Thai food you will not be disappointed! Myself and my cousin are massive seafood lovers and opted for a set menu containing plenty of it. The variety here is amazing and I’ll definitely be making another trip soon, it’s almost as good as the real thing!
Ok so whilst we are on topic of Le Meridien I thought I’d mention ‘The Warehouse’ and ‘The Dubliners’. Both really nice places to chill but they do amazing food and drinks. The Warehouse is mainly outdoor seating with Shisha and a hugeee bar and is amazing to sit out in the good weather and people watch! The Dubliners is a chill sports/ irish bar but they do the best steak I’ve had to date!
I hope you enjoyed this small insight on my fave places to eat, hopefully it helps someone!
